Intake   $150

This first appointment is 1.5-2 hours. It is where I get an overall sense of the situation, and we assess if I can help, or if a higher level of care is necessary

How can you know in advance if it will be a good fit? Read over the website. Consider that this is a one therapist operation-which means frequently there is no one who can respond-so high acuity situations need a larger team.

Additionally, I cannot be primary treatment for eating disorders, inadequately controlled severe mental illness, disorders with violent symptoms, severe autism/developmental disorders.

Insurance

Sara does not take insurance. She plans to take caresource medicaid when she is able but they will not currently contract with dependently licensed providers.

She can provide a superbill for clients to turn in to their insurance company

Low Income/Sliding Scale

Half of Sara's practice is sliding scale. It is organized by tiers, if would like to be placed on the waitlist for when one comes available, send an email

Couples/Family $130

2 or more people in any configuration

Phone consult $20/10min

Occasionally clients need support between sessions. (not scheduling)

Individual $120

One person

Email/text $20/10min

This is for in depth written contact-not scheduling/basic information

Ancient Toad Counseling offers a limited number of Sliding Scale slots. Each Range has 2 slots (see below). Apply by sending an email with the # of your range, you will be informed when there is an opening in that range.

I recognize that the lowest slide is not affordable for many people, it would not have been affordable for me at times in my life. There are larger organizations that write grants to be able to provide care at lower costs.
